  WORST EXPERIENCE, CAUSED MORE TROUBLE THAN IT WAS WORTH. I scheduled my cross country move from Atlanta to Torrance with Nicole from Allstate Moving one month in advance. At first everything was great, especially when she suggested that I could mail the key to her which would save me from having to fly to Atlanta since I now live in California. I began to get worried, as the moving date got closer, when I realized I had not been told where to send the key. A week before the move I called Nicole and asked her for the address. She said she had to ask which would be the best address and would call me back. A day later, after receiving no call, I called her back but I had to call several times as she did not get in until late in the afternoon. I finally got the address and mailed the key. The morning after my move was scheduled I called to confirm the pick up. Nicole was not in and the person who answered said she did not have access to Nicole's files and could not determine if my things were picked up. I called back in a hour and was told Nicole would be in in 15 minutes. I called back 30 minutes later and was told Nicole would be in at any moment. I called back an hour later and the phone went to voicemail. After about 2 hours I tried again and Nicole answered. She told me no one in the office told her I had called and asked if I could give her 20 minutes to figure out if the pick up happened. She also asked me for my number because their computers were down. An hour and a half later after receiving no call I called only to be told Nicole was on the phone with the dispatcher. I was left with no choice but to cancel the order because they did not pick up my things. It will now cost me more money because I was charged for another months rental at the storage facility since they never made the pick up, the new moving company charged me more because it was considered a rush to pick up my things in under a week and Allstate moving has not returned my deposit. I read the reviews and all of the good ones seem to be inner-city moves. So maybe this company is good for small moves, but they completely dropped the ball for this cross country move.....or maybe it was just the person I was dealing with. So while I'm not ready to dismiss the entire company, I will say that if you call and get Nicole....if I were you I would RUN!!!! Also, I find it interesting that the other gentleman who had a bad experience also had to deal with Nicole. One more thing, I think the worst part is that when I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was told Nicole WAS the supervisor.
